Activities for Immigrants

• The project Centre for Intercultural Dialogue (Središče za medkulturni dialog): creating an enabling environment for the integration of immigrants into cultural, economic and social life, helping to integrate beneficiaries of international protection and third-country nationals into the local environment, mobilising and connecting the local population willing to participate in creating an environment that is open to the integration of foreigners, and raising awareness among the local population about integration as a two-way process.
• Projekt Okusi medkulturnosti:Project Taste of Interculturality (Okusi medkulturnosti): strengthening the employability and social inclusion of members of minority ethnic communities and immigrants in the field of cultural-gastronomic tourism in the Obalno-kraška and Goriška regions.

Core Activities:  The Srečko Vilhar Central Library of Koper is the public municipal library of the Municipality of Koper and the central regional library for the municipalities of Koper, Izola, Piran, Ilirska Bistrica, Sežana and Postojna. It provides library services for the local population, as well as services for groups of people with special needs and for members of the Italian national community in Slovenian Istria.

Core Activities:  The Koper Regional Museum is a cultural and historical museum that takes care of cultural heritage and presents it to the widest possible public. It covers the fields of archaeology, history, ethnology and art and cultural history in the six municipalities of the Southern Primorska region.
